A Postpartum Mental Health Note

final note on a postpartum mini-series

GROWTH AND COURAGE

5/11/20252 min read

I’ve shared parts of what my healing has looked like — the physical, emotional, and quiet identity shifts that came with postpartum life.
But I’d be leaving something out if I didn’t talk about the mental health side.

Because sometimes, it’s not just overwhelm.
It’s anxiety that won’t let you sleep.
It’s rage you don’t recognize.
It’s a numbness that quietly terrifies you.

And sometimes — even with the perfect diet,
the commitment to move your body,
the strength it takes to stay positive —
it still feels surreal.
Like you’re lost in the woods, and the way out keeps disappearing.

This is why we have to talk about it.
Because you’re not broken.
You’re not alone.
And you deserve better — support, softness, space to feel, and a way forward.
Whether you’re deep in it right now or slowly coming up for air —
please know there are people, communities, and resources that exist to help.
Asking for support doesn’t make you weak.
It makes you brave.
And if you don’t have the words, that’s okay.
You only have to start somewhere.

Below are a few places you can reach out — no shame, no pressure, just support.
Because you matter and you deserve to feel held.

You Are Not Alone

If you’ve been following this journey — from breath-work to identity shifts to emotional unraveling — thank you.
Sharing pieces of my postpartum story has been deeply personal, and also… deeply necessary.

But I know stories alone aren’t always enough.
Sometimes, what we need most is support — real, grounded, accessible help.

If you’re in the thick of postpartum anxiety, depression, or just a season that feels heavier than you expected…
this is for you.

Please don’t wait to reach out.
It’s not weakness. It’s wisdom.
