Baked Apples with Red Cherries, Blueberries & Blackberries
These aren’t your grandma’s dainty baked apples. These are molten, ruby-juiced flavor grenades with cherries, blueberries, and blackberries, all roasted until they collapse into sweet, fragrant perfection. Coconut oil keeps things lush, wild honey adds that “I foraged this myself” fantasy, and nutmeg ties it all together like an autumn hug from someone who actually has their life together. (So… not you. jk, love you)

Ingredients (4 servings)
For the Apples
4 apples
1 cup red cherries, pitted
½ cup blueberries
½ cup blackberries
1–2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1–2 tbsp wild honey or coconut sugar
½–1 tsp nutmeg
Optional: cinnamon, lemon juice, pinch of salt
Optional drama: chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
Apples:
Preheat your oven to 425°F, because apparently you enjoy your fruit suffering.
Cut the apples in quarters like you’re removing the emotional halves of someone who ghosted you. Leave a little “well” in the middle.
In a bowl, toss cherries, blueberries, blackberries, coconut oil, sugar o honey, and nutmeg. (Try not to eat all the cherries “accidentally.”)
mix the apples and berries like you're packing for a trip you won’t actually take.
Set apples and berries mix in a baking dish. Add a splash of water or juice to the bottom so they steam instead of going full raisin.
Bake 35–45 minutes until tender, collapsing slightly, and smelling like a candle you’d pretend you didn’t buy at Target (boycott Target..IJS).
Serve warm.
