When Wellness Feels Overwhelming
A quiet reflection on what happens when wellness turns into overwhelm—and how I started rebuilding trust with my body, one gentle choice at a time. This isn’t a how-to. It’s a “me too.”
GROWTH AND COURAGE

Ever feel like taking care of yourself has turned into a to-do list you can’t keep up with?
Between blood sugar crashes, mood swings, energy dips, and “eat this, not that” advice flying around — wellness can start to feel less like healing and more like hustling.
I’ve been there. Through trial and error I’ve learn what best works for me. Here’s what I’ve learned:
It doesn’t have to be perfect to work.
You just need a starting point.
The connection between mood + food
I used to think feeling anxious, or overly overwhelm was just… normal. Like maybe I was just lazy or not trying hard enough.
But once I started learning how food actually affects mood and the brain— everything changed.
Here’s the twist though:
I wasn’t living on fast food or skipping meals.
I was active. Prioritizing exercise. Trying “healthy” diet trends.
But I was also stuck in a cycle of cardio over strength, low protein, low fiber, low fat, and a lot of confusion.
It wasn’t until I became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and a mom that I really started to understand what my body was trying to tell me.
And let me be clear — this wasn’t a few-week glow-up. This has been years in the making. Learning, unlearning, relearning. Over and over again.
If you’re just starting?
Give yourself grace. This process is not fast, but it is so worth it.
How I Learned to Ask for Help.
I used to think I had to figure it all out on my own.
That if I couldn’t, it meant I was a failure.
So I’d start something… and when it got hard, or boring, or I slipped up?
I’d give up in shame and move onto the next chu-chu train.
New diet. New routine. New goal.
It was the same with my nutrition and exercise — start strong, crash out, repeat.
But somewhere along the way, I started learning.
And trying. And slowly realizing something big:
Healing isn’t meant to be a solo project. But it can start with you.
When I became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I finally had the tools to understand what my body was really asking for.
I learned how things like blood sugar balance, digestion, nutrient density, sleep, and stress were all deeply connected.
And suddenly, I didn’t feel lost anymore — I felt equipped.
Now I offer that same support to others — not because I’m perfect, but because I remember exactly what it felt like to try everything and still feel stuck.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is say:
“I’m ready for support. I just don’t know where to start.”
If any part of this feels familiar — if you’re tired of starting over, or wondering why “healthy” still doesn’t feel like healing — just know you’re not alone.
This isn’t about having it all figured out.
It’s about getting curious, being honest with yourself, and choosing something gentler… but still grounded in truth.
If you’re ready for support — without shame, without pressure — I’ve created a simple 1:1 session for that very moment.
It’s not a “plan.” It’s a pause.
A moment to reflect, reconnect, and walk away with a few steps that actually work for your life.
You don’t have to do this alone.
Grab your coffee and dive in.
